i am finally reaching the climax of "False Pretenses"
sometimes, when i compare the illustrated "adult world" with that "demure and naive world" of mine, it's totally contradicting....
as in like... the way the businessmen think, and the way i think...
after so much reading i thought that businessmen are really living in a sad world, being forced into being unscrupulous and self-centred as it is essential for their survival in business, where people are always backstabbing you...
but it's quite a delight to know that there are indeed loyal friends, few though, and love still exists :D
but in that "adult world", people don't trust one another and they greet each other on the 1st gathering with much hostility -- for protection...
at least, that world sounds exciting and interesting though sometimes appalling :P

i learnt quite some words today :P
i learnt this word "lolling"
when i 1st saw this word...
it was in this sentence quoted from the book : "There were a half-dozen teenagers with motorcycles in front, lolling around."
lols...
and i initially imagined 6 teenagers laughing like mad gangsters...

out of the random, but i just heard "CB" from this song i was listening to, now...
maybe my ears are failing?

3 days ago, i learnt about this but forgotten to post :P
there was this pristine-white mercedez taxi with a flat tyre, travelling on the road...
it was very funny!
the tyre is rotating uncomfortably, making farting noises at the same time...
lols...
eh...
guess i gotta go now~
